Little Miss Mattie! Thursday, Apr 23 2009 

Little Miss Mattie was a beautiful and sweet girl to photograph.  She is very photogentic.  I enjoyed spending an afternoon with her and her mom.  What a blessing it is to capture these beautiful gifts from God.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy and have a blessed weekend.  I am leaving for women’s conference and will be away from my computer until Saturday evening, so if you email me I will not respond until late Sat. evening or maybe Monday.

Mr. Reggie Thursday, Apr 16 2009 

What a blessing it was to capture Reggie and two of his best buds which I also photographed for their senior pics.  I had such a great time photographing Reggie.  He is such a great guy and was up for anything.  He acutally probably thinks I am crazy.  I hope not anyway.  I do have flight-of-ideas.  I just jump from one idea to the next.  Anyway, here are some of my favorites from the session. One cold afternoon! Thursday, Apr 9 2009 

So here is the family and kidos.  We had a great afternoon with the exception of freezing to death.  The wind was so cold this day.  I enjoyed spending time and getting to know this family.  Family is so important and we should always take time to just have family time.  I hope you make time for your family too.  Here are a few from the session.  Hope ya’ll ejnoy.

Live, Love, and Laugh!!! Thursday, Apr 2 2009 

I am finally getting around to posting some from this session I was blessed to do.  This is a long time friend of mine and I was so happy when she called and asked if I could photograph her and her fiance.  It was a blessing for me.  Gigi was there for me during my chemotherapy.  She went with me to almost every treatment.  She was off on those days and she would spend most of her day with me.  I have always been grateful for that and never knew how to show my appreciation besides just buying her lunch every time.  Well, now I was able to give back a little and I feel so blessed to have been able to do this for her.  I could just feel the love and you can just see the joy and happiness all over their faces.  Here are a few I captured and Gigi, this is all you get to see.  Sorry, the rest is for a wedding gift so you have to be patient and wait.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Little Miss, Little Miss Tuesday, Mar 24 2009 

I just want to eat her up she is soooo cute.  No, she is beautiful.   I was so worried that we were not going to be able to do this session, the minute it was over it started sprinkling.  We made it through and had a great time. She was a trooper during the session and I just enjoyed her so much.   I loved her Matilda Jane outfits too.  Clothing can really help make or break a session.  This type of clothing “ROCKS”.  www.matildajaneclothing.com   These were some of my favorites from the session.  I hope ya’ll enjoy.

I wanted to announce that for July and August I am going to try this and see how it will go.  I am going to try and only book sessions for those that have one to two children.  The session fee will remain and the minimum order, but you will receive a complimentary 11×14.  The catch is I get to style the session.  You bring your clothing (several items) and I will peace things together or use something I have.  I will style it for either an urban session or a country session.  If you are interested in this please email me at seth2001@bellsouth.net

This will be for ages 2-12 only!!!  No children under the age of two or over the age of twelve.  This is my target ages besides seniors/bridals/and engagments so I am going to do those two months a little different if it works out ok.

Look forward to hearing from those who are interested.  At the end I may have a contest to let others vote and some of the children may be used on advertising materials.  Just have to think this part out a little more so will have to give details later.  I had planned to have a contest anyway, so I think I will use the one’s from these sessions for the contest and tie it all together.

Another Beautiful Senior MS. Alyssa! Monday, Mar 16 2009 

Like I said another beautiful senior.  My 2009 seniors have been awesome and I enjoyed them so much.  I look forward to all my 2010 seniors.  Me and Alyssa had so much fun. I photographed Alyssa’s sister about two years ago and she is just beautiful too.   These senior girls know how to have fun and it makes my job easier.  I feel so blessed to be able to capture these memories for all my seniors.  They will all look back one day and wonder where the last twenty years went.  It just amazes me how time flies.  These are a few of my favorites from the session.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Senior “Bo” Thursday, Mar 12 2009 

Ok I have been trying to do this post for two days but was without internet service until now.  I didn’t realize how much of my work depends on the internet until I tried to do a post, order, and send a proof to someone via email and wasn’t able to do any of these things until I got a new moedem.  I spent an hour and a half on the phone yesterday with a guy trying to troubleshoot and finally narrowed it to the modem needing replacing.  He felt so bad that he didn’t charge for the modem and shipped it overnight.  Thank God for that and he was such a pleasant person to deal with on the phone.  There are still pleasant people to deal with on the phone.  He was so patient with me because I am not that great when it comes to computers.  It has just been one of those crazy weeks this week.  I have been running all week, functioning on little sleep, and just feel run down.  I will be glad when this week is over.  Praying that next week is better.

Well, here is some from another senior session.  I was able to capture “Bo” and had a great time with him and his family.  Boys are a little more difficult to photograph sometimes but Bo was a pleasure to photograph.  He was very laid back and easy going.  Here are a few from the session and I hope ya’ll enjoy.

Beautiful Senior Leah Thursday, Mar 5 2009 

0629-02-8x12-blog2I know I keep saying it but these seniors have been great and I am just loving them.  They could be models for sure.  I had a great afternoon with Leah and her mom.  We just really had a great time and I enjoyed my time spent with them.  I will soon wrap it up with my 2009 seniors and have several 2010 seniors that I will be photographing this year.  I look forward to them and it is always a blessing to me to meet them and get to know them all a little better.  I wish they could know now what I do without having to go through the things I had to go through.  That’s just part of life though and we live and learn.  Just keep God in your heart and obey Him and life will be so much better.  Here are a few from our session.  Hope you enjoy and until next time I hope you all have blessed day’s.

Another beautiful senior I was able to photograph.  These girls are all beautiful and I have just been having so much fun photographing them all.  I had a great afternoon with Britney and her mom and just enjoyed their company so much.  I believe Britney thought I was a little crazy because I got more excited about things than she did.  I just love what I do and never forget that it is God that works through me.  He is the one that gets the credit not me.  Here are a few from the session.  I look forward to my other seniors that are coming up.  Have a blessed evening and I will be back here sometime I know.

Beautiful, Fun Senior MS. Taylor Monday, Feb 16 2009

What an awesome shoot this was.  I am starting to think that I could photograph senior girls all year long.  They are just so much fun.  You boys are too but the girls just enjoy having their photos taken so much more.  We had so much fun during this session despite having to take rain breaks and trying to protect my camera from the rain.  I just really enjoyed every minute of it.  Taylor is so beautiful inside and out.  She was just a blessing to photograph and so photogentic.  Here are a few from the session.  I could have kept posting but have to save some of my other favorits for a surprise.  Hope ya’ll enjoy and as always give thanks to the Lord.  He is just so Awesome and worthy of all our praise.

Little Mr. Rock Star Tuesday, Feb 10 2009 

This little man is always a blessing to photograph.  He is growing up so fast and let me tell you what, he kept me on my toes.  I was having to move fast.  He is two and he is fast.  I can’t move as fast as I used to and he tested me to see if I could keep up.  I did my best to keep up with him and got lots of exercise doing so.  We had a great time.  I loved his outfits.  I can’t stress enough how much your outfits play a part in the session.  His outfits were awesome, and I just love the rock star theme.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.  Keep my brother in your prayers, he had to have two stents put in today and had a mild heart attack within the last two weeks.  I am so thankful for my wonderful Savior Jesus Christ and I know my Lord is healing my brother.

Three beautiful kidos. Monday, Feb 2 2009

 I sent out my policies at the end of last week, most were by email and some were by mail.  If you would please email me if you haven’t already to let me know if you have or have not received them.  I sent to everyone I had on my 2009 list.  If you happend to contact me through my blog and never heard back from me it is due to me not receiving your message or me trying to respond and my email being returned.  That happend a couple of weeks ago and all I had was the email address and I tried contact them through email and it was returned.  When contacting me please leave a contact number always.  Thanks!

We had my daughters birthday party at Tummy Yummy and let me tell you that is the best place for birthday parties.  I was blow away at everything.  It is so organized and the kids has so much fun.  They got to make pizza’s, learned about making cookies, decorated cookies.  I didn’t have to do a thing.  Everything was included even the party favors.  You should consider having your child’s birthday party there.  It is great for all ages (especially 3 and up).  Check them out at ,

 I am so sorry for waiting so long to post.  This is something I am going to work hard at.  I have got to get better at posting more often.  I just have so many other things going on that I have started puting posting on the back burner.  I am sorry! 

These three kids are beautiful and were such a blessing to photograph.  I enoyed spending time with them and getting to see their individual personalities.  They just really loosened up and let their personalities shine.  It always makes for a great session when the kidos open up and are themselves around me.  So of course this was a great session.  Here are some of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy. 

I have really learned something this week.  If you get a word from God to go pray for someone, go do it.  God will use us to glorify Him we have to be obedient.

Just precious! Saturday, Jan 24 2009 

Look at all the beautiful Children of the world.  It saddens my heart that the world has more concern and respect for the trees than our children.    I am just sad about what turn our nation is taking.  Those of us that are for God need to take a stand and stand up for what we believe in.  We need to pray for our nation like never before.  All that said look at this beautiful little girl.  It is always a blessing to photograph this precious one.    She usually doesn’t want anything to do with having her photograph taken but this time she was by herself and she performed in front of the camera.  Can I jsut tell you I love my job.  Yes this one is from Nov. as well.  I am working on policies/pricing this week and will begin booking end of the week.  I look forward to 2009 and what God has in store.

I took my kidos to see Hotel for Dogs yesterday and it was such a cute movie.  I laughed and cried in it.  I wasn’t expecting that many people to be at the movies but I guess everyone had the same idea.  We wanted to see the 2pm movie and it was sold out and had to kill two hours and come back at 4 to see the 4:30 movie, but it was worth it.  We had a great time.  I suggest you see it.

Miss “C” another beautiful senior! Saturday, Jan 17 2009 

WOW!  Another beautiful senior from my November sessions.  It just amazes me how beautiful all these seniors are.  I always have such a great time photographing my seniors and can’t wait to start photographing them again next month.  I am so looking forward to it.  It always is like a fashion shoot with the girls and I love that.  These are a few from the session and I truly hope ya’ll enjoy. 

I will be hosting a “Matilda Jane Trunk show March 13th (Friday evening from 5:30-8:30)  Hope you can make it.  I can’t wait to see the spring line!  Check out the site at www.matildajaneclothing.com.

I am also going to be planning a “Faith/Fresh Face Contest”  I am excited.  Stay tooned for this because I will have different age catagories and there will be only one winner from each category.  I may do girls & boys I haven’t decided yet.  It will consist of me styling the session and you will recieve something from the session.  I will be working on the details soon and will post them here.  I will not be the judge.  The winners will appear on new marketing materials.  This will strickly be for walking ages up and possibly a senior as well.  Can’t wait to work out all the details.  So start thinking about what photo you will be sending in.  I am not sure what month I will do the sessions or anything like that yet.

Miss “T” a beautiful Senior Tuesday, Jan 13 2009

This is another senior I photographed in November that was saved for Jan. for proofing.  I had so much fun with this young lady and her mom.  I tell you what she is a beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  This whole family is just beautiful and I can’t wait to photograph all three sisters together.  I am so thankful that I was able to experience such a special time in Miss “T’s” life and I know she has a bright future ahead of her.  Here are a few from her session and I hope ya’ll enjoy!
