Always in love! Thursday, Apr 9 2009

I had to do a seperate post of the parents together.  I know they will understand why “certain circumstances”  so I just wanted them to have their own little post.  The post above is the whole family.  It was such a blessing to spend the afternoon with this family.  I am not going to say much here because I am moving straight on to the family post.  Just wanted to share the LOVE!

Live, Love, and Laugh!!! Thursday, Apr 2 2009

I am finally getting around to posting some from this session I was blessed to do.  This is a long time friend of mine and I was so happy when she called and asked if I could photograph her and her fiance.  It was a blessing for me.  Gigi was there for me during my chemotherapy.  She went with me to almost every treatment.  She was off on those days and she would spend most of her day with me.  I have always been grateful for that and never knew how to show my appreciation besides just buying her lunch every time.  Well, now I was able to give back a little and I feel so blessed to have been able to do this for her.  I could just feel the love and you can just see the joy and happiness all over their faces.  Here are a few I captured and Gigi, this is all you get to see.  Sorry, the rest is for a wedding gift so you have to be patient and wait.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am having another spring Matilda Jane Trunk show on Saturday evening April 11th between 5 and 7:30pm.  Hope if you didn’t get to make the last one that you can make this one.  Check them out at www.matildajaneclothing.com

The clothing is just precious.  Love the way these clothes show up in photographs.

Words of Wisdom:  Being united in serving the Lord is one key to a strong marriage.  As you walk through life with your wife, you must decide together which direction you want to go–toward the eternal destination of heaven or away from it.  This is the key to experiencing daily divine moments together.

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

EPHESIANS 5:21

Lord Jesus, I praise you Lord and glorify you and I just pray that we always keep you first in our marriage.  Help us Lord to always put you first in everything and I pray that you bless our marriages. Amen.

This was such a fun session and an amazing couple.  We had so much fun during the session.  I didn’t get to photograph their wedding (I am not a wedding photographer) but I did reccomend a few and one of my reccomendations Kyla Branch (www.kylabranchphotography.com)  did get to photograph their wedding and did an amazing job.

This couple is just beautiful inside and out and I know their baby will be beautiful too.  I wish them the best and know God will bless them.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Beautiful couple! Wednesday, Jul 9 2008

Well we had a great vacation but now I need a vacation from a vacation.  I can’t seem to get caught up on the washing or putting things away where they go.  I did get every bag unpacked except one (my daughters).  I feel overwhelmed coming home to eight sessions behind.  I am getting nervous that I will never catch up.  Maybe by December I will be caught up.  I am already looking at my 2008 Christmas cards.  I have already ordered one set and have seen a few more.  Its sad that I am already having to buy my Christmas cards but if I don’t do it know I would only have mine from 2007 to offer.

My kidos had so much fun on our trip.  I highly reccomend Blue Bayou water park near Baton Rouge.  My son road every water slide except one.  He just had a blast.  The ammusment park side was great too.  My little girl loved it.  My husband and I were laughing so hard we were crying at her expressions on the rides.  She wanted to ride everything.

Well, I am back at work in full swing.  I had some proof books to get out when I got back and orders in and orders to place.  No rest now.  Well I know you remember this beautiful bride, well look at what a beautiful couple these two make.  I enjoyed photographing them so much and had a great time.  I know they think I am crazy.  Sometimes I think I am too.  Well I hope ya’ll enjoy.  May God bless these two with their marriage.

Words of Wisdom:  Always love one another.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

1Peter 4:8

LORD, help us all to love one another, and bless this young couple with love and understanding. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

This is another senior shoot and I love photographing my seniors.  We had such a great time.  Ms. B wanted some photos of her and her boyfriend so I captured some of them together as well and have one here of her and her best friend.  I know she had fun because she emailed me to let me know she had a good time.  I always have fun and try hard to make it fun for my clients.  Ms. B is beautiful and was just a sweetheart to work with.  I enjoyed the afternoon with her and her mom as well as her boyfriend and best friend.  These are a few of my favorites.  I was going to post them last night, but got busy finishing another session.  Sometimes I get behind on my posting due to moving on to my next session.  Well, I hope ya’ll enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by.

Words of Wisdom:  “As important as your past is, it is not as important as the way you see your future.”  Author unknown

The best way to seek a positive future is to look forward to it.  If you’re always looking over your shoulder, you won’t go far before you start bumping into things.  But when you believe that great things are ahead and meet each day with eager anticipation, you’re creating incredible opportunities for success. (A bridge to a better future by John C. Maxwell).

Do not worry about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrow too.   Live one day at a time.

MATTHEW 6:34

LORD, help us to live today enjoying the present moments.  Help us to lead the children to do the same and to enjoy each moment you give us.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Generation of Love Monday, Dec 3 2007

Well  we  are getting  close  to Christmas  now.  I  am trying  to get everything wrapped up  for 2007.    I have a senior  to  post next  and then my post will  just be  family sessions  I have done and put  on the back burner  and  my  family and my friend  Kerri  pregnant.    Please  continue  to pray  for Marty.  I didn’t  get  by the  hospital last week  but am going this  week.    She  continues  to  make progress  and I  am praying that  she  makes  tremendous  progress between now and Christmas.

My husband and I are  taking the kids to  The Childrens Museum  this week.  They have so much going on there  for the kids  to  do.  I think I  am more excited about  going than the kids are.  I just  can’t  wait  to  go  and  see  everything  and  just  have  fun.

This session was  so much  fun.   I  had such  a great  time  capturing these  moments for this  family and  I am sure  they will  enjoy these  moments in their  hearts forever.    I  enjoy seeing the  LOVE  families share.    What  a  blessing it  is to be able to capture that LOVE  in a  photograph.  Here are  a  few  of my favorites. Hope ya’ll enjoy.    May  peace  and  love be  with  you this  Holiday  Season.

Words  of Wisdom: ” Today’s  world  cannot be  remodeled  with yesterday’s  memories:  There are no u-turns on  the road  to the future.”     -Michael O’Neill, Journalist

Plan  for the future, live  in the  present, and leave  yesterday behind.

Dear  Lord,  help  the children  to  plan  for their  future carefully and help  us  to  lead them in  the right  direction.   The  choice is  ours  but  help us to guide  them.    Help us  all to  live  in the present  and  not focus on  yesterday.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Brook & Blake Wednesday, May 30 2007

OK, I am adding one more for Brook’s mom; she wanted to see this one and I thought I posted it and didn’t, so I’m adding it now and it’s one of my favorites!

6965-01blog.jpgI had my first engagement session on Monday and I loved it. We had soooo much fun and the atmosphere was perfect for this couple. I can’t wait to do Brooke’s bridal shoot next month. We are going to have a blast. I know I am posting a bunch, but it was too hard to choose. I hope you enjoy. I love the feel of these, and this couple is young and in LOVE!

Tara & Phillip Monday, May 7 2007

I had such a great time capturing these moments for Tara and Phillip. These two were married back in December and wanted to have their marriage blessed. Tara is a friend of mine and I was honored to take part in their blessing. This is probably the closest thing to a wedding I will be doing.
Tara wore a traditional Veitnam wedding gown and head piece. The ceremony was very touching; there was a candle light and balloon release in memory of Tara’s mom. Ten butterflies were released by friends and wishes made for the couple for each one released.
I wish these two a life of happiness.

Words of Wisdom: “One heart to give in simple faith, one testimony true, one gift, one song, one life, one heart__I give them, Lord, to You!”

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

Lord Bless these two forever, Amen!
