Senior “Bo” Thursday, Mar 12 2009

Ok I have been trying to do this post for two days but was without internet service until now.  I didn’t realize how much of my work depends on the internet until I tried to do a post, order, and send a proof to someone via email and wasn’t able to do any of these things until I got a new moedem.  I spent an hour and a half on the phone yesterday with a guy trying to troubleshoot and finally narrowed it to the modem needing replacing.  He felt so bad that he didn’t charge for the modem and shipped it overnight.  Thank God for that and he was such a pleasant person to deal with on the phone.  There are still pleasant people to deal with on the phone.  He was so patient with me because I am not that great when it comes to computers.  It has just been one of those crazy weeks this week.  I have been running all week, functioning on little sleep, and just feel run down.  I will be glad when this week is over.  Praying that next week is better.

Well, here is some from another senior session.  I was able to capture “Bo” and had a great time with him and his family.  Boys are a little more difficult to photograph sometimes but Bo was a pleasure to photograph.  He was very laid back and easy going.  Here are a few from the session and I hope ya’ll enjoy.

Wanted to remind everyone of my Matilda Jane trunk show tomorrow evening March 13th between 5:30& 8:30pm.  I look forward to the show.  Hope you can come.

Words of Wisdom:  “Some men have thousands of reasons why they cannot do what they want to, when all they need is one reason why they can.”—–Willis R. Whitney

Give yourself a reason to follow and fulfill your dream.  All it takes is one.  (Your Bridge to a Better Future by John C. Maxwell).

But as it is written:  What no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and what has never come into a man’s heart, is what God has prepared for those who love Him.

Lord Jesus,  I praise You and love You and glorify Your Name.  Lord, lead our paths daily and help us to focus on our dreams and glorify You always.  I pray that you will lead us to follow whatever it is You have planned in our lives.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

MS. Britney Saturday, Feb 21 2009

Another beautiful senior I was able to photograph.  These girls are all beautiful and I have just been having so much fun photographing them all.  I had a great afternoon with Britney and her mom and just enjoyed their company so much.  I believe Britney thought I was a little crazy because I got more excited about things than she did.  I just love what I do and never forget that it is God that works through me.  He is the one that gets the credit not me.  Here are a few from the session.  I look forward to my other seniors that are coming up.  Have a blessed evening and I will be back here sometime I know.

Words of Wisdom:  “Encouragement is the fuel for tomorrow.”    –Author Unknow

Give the gift of encourgement to others.  Reward them for today, and give them hope for tomorrow.  A person can travel farther on a kind word than on just about anything else in life.

(Your Bridge to a Better Future by John C. Maxwell)

The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.  I will advise you and watch ouver you.”

PSALM 32:8

Lord Jesus, I praise You and love You and just ask that You continue to work on me and live in me and help me to always encourage others.  I have faith in You and know that You will never fail me.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Three beautiful kidos. Monday, Feb 2 2009

I sent out my policies at the end of last week, most were by email and some were by mail.  If you would please email me if you haven’t already to let me know if you have or have not received them.  I sent to everyone I had on my 2009 list.  If you happend to contact me through my blog and never heard back from me it is due to me not receiving your message or me trying to respond and my email being returned.  That happend a couple of weeks ago and all I had was the email address and I tried contact them through email and it was returned.  When contacting me please leave a contact number always.  Thanks!

We had my daughters birthday party at Tummy Yummy and let me tell you that is the best place for birthday parties.  I was blow away at everything.  It is so organized and the kids has so much fun.  They got to make pizza’s, learned about making cookies, decorated cookies.  I didn’t have to do a thing.  Everything was included even the party favors.  You should consider having your child’s birthday party there.  It is great for all ages (especially 3 and up).  Check them out at ,

Tell them I sent you if you decide to book your party.  I promise you will be so glad you did.

I am so sorry for waiting so long to post.  This is something I am going to work hard at.  I have got to get better at posting more often.  I just have so many other things going on that I have started puting posting on the back burner.  I am sorry!

These three kids are beautiful and were such a blessing to photograph.  I enoyed spending time with them and getting to see their individual personalities.  They just really loosened up and let their personalities shine.  It always makes for a great session when the kidos open up and are themselves around me.  So of course this was a great session.  Here are some of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

I have really learned something this week.  If you get a word from God to go pray for someone, go do it.  God will use us to glorify Him we have to be obedient.

Tomorrow there will be a bone marrow drive for Amber Tamburo (check out my annountments in a bit, I will be posting it there).

Words of Wisdom:  When you speak the words of God about situations you face, you are speaking the power of God into them.(The 100 most important bible verses for mothers).

God means what he says. What he says goes.  His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.  Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word.  We can’t get away from it–no matter what.

Lord Jesus, speak to us and help us to open up to what You want from us.  Lord, use us to glorify You.  I pray Lord that you will use us to magnify Your Name.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Little cutie. Monday, Aug 18 2008

This little boy is such a cutie.  I had a great time capturing these moments.  He was full of life and I loved observing his little personality.  He didn’t give me many smiles, but check out those beautiful eyes, and I love his expressions.  Here are a few and I hope ya’ll enjoy.

At this point I have several seniors on my list that are 2009 seniors.  I will currently not be adding any other seniors to my list from this point on unless I see where I can manage to fit a few others in.  At this point though I do not see where I could possibly take on any other seniors unless it is a 2010 senior wanting to take pictures in advance (which is a good idea).  Those seniors that are on my list will hear from me in Sept. about scheduling dates.

Words of Wisdom:  If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned.

Lord, help us to love others and not judge others.  Help us Lord to show our children how to love.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Beautiful Family of Four! Wednesday, May 21 2008

This family was just beautiful and fun to photograph.  We had a great time and captured priceless moments.  I learned things about the kidos that were just too funny.  I love capturing the true spirit of people.  Such great moments to treasure.  Here are a few from the session and it was hard to pick.

My Matilda Jane show has been moved to 08-16-08 from 2-5 so be sure to change the date on your calander.  I look forward to the new fall line.

Words of Wisdom:  Learn to say kind things because nobody ever resents them.  (mama’s rules for livin).

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.  By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

JOHN 13:34-35

LORD, help us to teach our childre how to love one another and show respect and speak kindly to one another.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Good Times Tuesday, Apr 29 2008

This has been a difficult past week, last week a little boy from here “Bubba” Sasnett drowned so please remember the Sasnett family in your prayers during this difficult time.  Also a young man that I met about a year ago (I recently photographed his twins) died after a long battle with colan cancer.  When I met him I just felt a connection due to being a colan cancer survivor.  I have come to know his wife and she is just adorable.  Please remember the Wooden famiy in your prayers as well.

Let me move on to my session,  this was a great session and we had a great time.  We all even got to eat together after the session.  I just love meeting people doing what I do.  I praise God for blessing me and it is all because of Him that I can do what I do.  I always have fun on my session and always try to make it fun for everyone, and I know these kidos had fun because they let me know at the end.  Here are a few from the session.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by to look.

Words of Wisdom:  He who give to me teaches me to give. (God’s little devotions book for parents).

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for sweet-smelling aroma.

Thanks & God Bless!

Beautiful Senior Monday, Apr 21 2008

Sorry for the delay in posting but I am starting to get behind and it may take me more days between posting.  This young lady contacted me months ago about doing her senior pictures.  She is from Pensylvania and was in for a wedding and scheduled to have her pictures taken while she was in Monroe.  It was such a blessing to get to photograph her.  She is a beautiful girl inside and out.  We had a great time and I will remember our day together.  I feel so blessed to meet the people I meet and have them touch my life and I just always pray that I can touch someone’s life.  I always ask God to shin through me.  Thanks again for stopping by and I truly hope you enjoy.  Here are a few favorites.

Words of Wisdom: ” Learn as if you were to live forever.  Live as if your were to die tomorrow.” (Your bridge to a better future).

You should always plan for tomorrow but live for today.  Stop and appreciate the little things in life and enjoy the simple pleasures.  When life isn’t going the way I like it I always tell myself that this is all just temporary anyway.  Things are not always gonna go the way I want, but I know He has a plan for my life and I just have to live each day as if there may be no tomorrow.  I have to remind myself of the longterm (eternal life) and remind myself to just try not to worry about the little things and enjoy and savor the moments I do have.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

PSALM 18:2

LORD, help us to see today how we can be useful.  Give us all strength to walk into each opportunity You set before us. Help us all to live each day as if there is no tomorrow.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Rock-star Senior Friday, Feb 22 2008

Ok let me tell you that this session was right up my alley.  I loved the rock theme too.  I enjoyed the afternoon with this gentleman and his mom and sister.  I was starting to get worried weather or not I was ever going to be able to photograph him.  This was our third attempt due to the weather and it was misting rain almost the entire session.  I did manage to capture him and his personality despite the weather.  It was just fun and I had fun.  Here are just a few of my favorites.  Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by.

Words of Wisdom:  “Our only limitation is our expectation.”  Author unknown

What do you believe you are capable of?  How far do you think you can go?  It may surprise you to know that your attitude does more to determine your future than anything else in life: talent, resources, connections, or opportunities.  If you believe you can, you can!  (Your bridge to a better future by: John C. Maxwell  ( This is so true.  I will never forget my oncologist telling me that my attitude about my cancer would have a lot to do with the outcome).  I do believe that God healed me and He gave me the ability to keep a positive attitude.  God is always there when no one else is.

I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them.  Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!

PSALM 116: 1-2TLB

LORD, thank you for hearing my prayers and answering them as well.  I pray for the children that they recognize the need to pray and will have the desire to pray as long as they have breath.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!
