I wanted to use this saying; I had this from a friend’s funeral that passed October 25th, 2000.

You are not forgotten, loved one

Nor will you ever be,

As long as life and memory last

We will remember thee.

We miss you now,

our hearts are sore.

As time goes by

we’ll miss you more.

Your loving smile, your gentle face

No one can fill your vacant place.

This has been a touching experience for me, and I want to post this with dignity and respect for Jordan.  When Sherri called and told me what she wanted to capture, I was excited to be able to do this for her and her family.  Sherri, Desirae and Kaelynn and Jordan had planned for potraits to be taken in October 2006 for a Christmas gift to their parents, but that day never came for them.  Sherri and Desirae lost their brother on June 28, 2006 (one month shy of his 17th birthday).  (Kaelynn is Jordan’s niece)

Sherri described Jordan as the most beautiful boy you’d ever seen .  He had a smile that would melt your heart.  These three miss him desparately and wanted to capture his spirit with some of his things.  The belt buckle (he wore it everywhere!  It belonged to their grandfather and was passed down to Jordan when his grandfather passed away.)  They brought his truck-his prize pocession!!!  His physical presence was missing from this photo session, but he was there with us. “He has never left our side!!!”

I give my respects to Jordan’s family and I can tell you this is a loving family and I know their parents will be blessed with these surprise pictures for this Christmas.  It was such a blessing to do this shoot and I feel like Jordan has touched my life as well.

Words of Wisdom:  We must continue to ask God for wisdom and  insight and for the strength to persevere.  He will cause us to rise up and fly like eagles, walking and not fainting.  —Norma Smalley

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

PSALM 29:11

God Bless everyone Jordan has touched.  God is amazing!!

Dear LORD, put your hands on this loving family and give them comfort to soothe their hurting.  LORD  let them know you are only a prayer away.  Let them turn to you at all times for your loving comfort.  Amen.
