Beautiful blue eyed blonde girl! Thursday, Sep 25 2008

Gotta love those blue eyes!!!  I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful girl while she was in town visiting her family and cousins that I have photographed in the past.  I had so much fun and was able to get some of her and the cousins together although I am not posting them here.  I tell you “Girls just want to have fun.”  and that is what we did.  These are a few of my favorites.  Thanks for stopping by and sorry I am not posting as often, but just trying to catch up on proofing and orders.

I praise God for using me to glorify Him in my work!!!

Words of Wisdom:  Your children learn more of your faith during the bad times than they do during the good times.  (God’s Little Instruction Book for Mom)

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials.

JAMES 1:2 NASB

Lord, help us to teach our children to have faith in You not only during the good times but during the bad times too.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Fun with boys! Friday, Sep 19 2008

Just got to start off by saying sometimes boys are harder to photograph than girls, but then sometimes its the other way around.  These boys were great to photograph. I think they had a little fun too.  Two were here visiting from out-of-town so I was able to capture some photographs of them with their cousin that I have photographed before.

Thank God we have had some beautiful days here lately, now we need to pray that He will do something about the mosquitoes.  Those pesty things are driving me a little crazy.  Some are the size of birds!!!  Well hopefully we will have a couple of freezes this winter and kill some of them off, we will just have to suffer through the cold.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a blessed weekend.

Words of Wisdom:  A little boy’s mother once told him that it is God who makes people good.  He looked up and replied, “Yes I know it is God, but mothers help a lot.”  (God’s Little Instruction Book for Mom)

Reject not nor forsake the teaching of your mother.

PROVERBS 1:8 AMP

Lord, help us to lead our children to know that You do make people good and that You are not to blam when things go wrong.  Help us to teach our children that in this world we are allowed to make choices and our choices determine the outcome and that they should always look to You to lead them to make the right choices.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Two beautiful sisters and oh what fun I had!! Monday, Sep 15 2008

These two sisters were awesome to photograph.  We had a great time for a dreary day.  These two got along well and never complained once about anything.  I enjoyed getting to know them and their mom.  I love the Matilda Jane outfits too.  Just great outfits for sessions.  Oh yeah and my Matilda Jane trunk show is this Sat. and I can’t wait.  Check them out at www.matildajaneclothing.com   I just love their stuff.

Well, I hope everyone is ok after the storm and we need to remember those that suffered in our prayers.  We don’t realize just how blessed we are.  Remember to thank God for what you have and pray for those that are suffering.

Words of Wisdom:  “Choice, not chance, determines destiny.” —The Bible Friend

Luck is a myth, and there is no such thing as coincidence.  Our choices determine 80percent of what we do in life and 100 percent of our attitude toward it. ( You Bridge to a Better Future by John C. Maxwell)

“God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved.”

JOHN 3:17

Lord, help us to make the right decesions in life and to do it with a positive attitude.  Help us to raise our children to put You first and trust You to guide them to help make the right decisions.  Amen.

Thanks again for stopping by and just rember without Him I have nothing!~

God Bless!

I am so behind: Several Posts! Sorry! Monday, Sep 8 2008

I really hated to post this many at one time, but in order to do some catching up I had to.  I like to give each session their own attention, but I have just been focusing my time on my editing and not posting, so I had to do it.  Each one of these sessions were great.  Some of the children did better than others, but that is what children are all about.  You never know what you will capture.  Each one has a unique personality and I just love being able to capture some great moments to cherish.

My Matilda Jane Trunk show is coming up on Sat. Sept. 20th and I am so excited to see the new fall line.  It looks too cute.

Here are some from the sessions and I hope ya’ll enjoy.  Thanks again for stopping by to look.  Please pray that we do not have any more rain for a while.  I just don’t think we could handle much more water.

Words of Wisdom: “Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow.  The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”  —Abraham Lincoln

Never confuse what others think of you with who you really are.  Be humble and authentic in everything you do, and you will never be left chasing shadows;  (Your Bridge to a Better future by John C. Maxwell).

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.  Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

PSALM 34:11NIV

Lord, help us all to humble ourselves before You.  Lord I pray that we teach our children how to be authentic and to be humble and to always put You first.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Loving the camera! Monday, Sep 1 2008

I don’t think I have ever met a little girl that loved having her picture made more than this one.  She just love performing in front of the camera and I had a lot of fun with her.    She has so much personality and I was able to capture many of her great facial expressions.  Thanks so much for all the fun and I hope you enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by and please remember to be in prayer for all those people affected by the storm.

Words of Wisdom:  “The real contest is always between what you’ve done and what you’re capable of doing. You measure yourself against yourself and nobody else.”

___Geoffrey Gaberino (Olympic Gold Medalist, Swimming)

Don’t compare yourself to others.  You will look at your weaknesses next to their areas of giftedness and feel demoralized, or you will put your best up against their worst and become smug.  Either way you lose.  Instead, think in terms of where you are compared to your potential– and then keep striving to be your best.  (Your Bridge to a better future by JohnkC. Maxwell)

“If you follow Me, you shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

JOHN 8:12

Lord, help us all to strive to be our best and to put You first.  Without You we have nothing.  Everything we have is because of You and Lord I just pray that we all take the time to thank You for the things we have.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!
