Precious Little Girl & Happy Easter to all! Sunday, Mar 23 2008

3226-02blog.jpg

Happy Easter to everyone.  I hope everyone remembers Jesus Christ this day and how he died for our sins.  Jesus rose from the dead on that third day-the day we celebrate as Easter Sunday.  Jesus now offers to each and everyone the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins.  I hope you all have a great Easter.

This little girl is just beautiful.  She didn’t care much about having her picture taken, she was more interested in mom.  I did manage to get some of her anyway.  I photographed her two cousins last year and they were both beautiful too. I had a great time with her and her mom.  Here are a few for viewing and I hope you enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  Just let God direct your steps and you will be calm and peaceful.  (myself)

“The Lord will give strength unto His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.”

PSALM 29:11

LORD, give us all the strength we need to get through each day and to deal with our everyday problems.  Help us to let You guide our steps so that we can be calm and peaceful.  Amen.

I love this one because it looks like she is praising the LORD.  This is what my little girl does when you ask her “How do we praise the LORD?”  I just love it.

The Joy of Boys! Thursday, Mar 20 2008

2839-03text-blog.jpg

I had the pleasure of photographing these three boys and believe me they kept me on my toes.  I had so much fun and they loved the capes and mom had to get them each one.  They were all over the place and it was a job to catch the little one.  Aren’t they just darling.  I should have posted them already, but I got behind due to my little one being sick again last week (Bronchitis).  After prayers, shots, steroids, inhaler, nebulizer treatments, and antibiotics, good gosh thats a lot of stuff, but thanks to God she is doing better.  Well, here are a few of these cute boys from our outing.  Mom was a great sport and I enjoyed my afternoon with them all.  Thanks for stopping by.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  God loves each of us as if there were only one of us. (Gods little devotional book)

The LORD is my light and my salvation.

PSALMS 27:1

LORD help our children to understand that You love each and everyone of them as if they are the only one.  LORD, help us to teach our children to love one another as You love us.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Easy breezy beautiful cover girl-”MS. K” Saturday, Mar 15 2008

1873-01-5x7blog.jpg

Ok this almost raps it up for my 2008 Seniors except I have one coming down from another state next month and due to the snow in her state she told me that she will not get out of school until June.  We are blessed here.  I had such a great time photographing Ms. K.  She is just beautiful inside and out.  I go to church with her and she keeps my children for me at times.  I just love her and I do believe she could be a cover girl.  Her skin is flawless.  I know that she will be successful in life and I just feel blessed to know her and have her as a part of my life and my children’s lives.  I know God is going to lead her in the right direction and that she will follow Him.  Ms. K. I love you and wish you the best and just keep God close and you will not fail.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Thanks for stopping by.

Words of Wisdom:  “Measure your possibilities not according to what you see in yourself, but according to what you see in God for you.” (Author Unknown).

If you want to know who you are and what you may become, always turn to God because he has all the answers.  You can only see your true self through God’s eyes.

Lord lead our children in the direction you want them to go and help them to keep You close.  Lord help them to realize that You have the answers for their lives.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Miss “B” Wednesday, Mar 12 2008

1339-03blog1.jpg

This is another senior shoot and I love photographing my seniors.  We had such a great time.  Ms. B wanted some photos of her and her boyfriend so I captured some of them together as well and have one here of her and her best friend.  I know she had fun because she emailed me to let me know she had a good time.  I always have fun and try hard to make it fun for my clients.  Ms. B is beautiful and was just a sweetheart to work with.  I enjoyed the afternoon with her and her mom as well as her boyfriend and best friend.  These are a few of my favorites.  I was going to post them last night, but got busy finishing another session.  Sometimes I get behind on my posting due to moving on to my next session.  Well, I hope ya’ll enjoy.  Thanks for stopping by.

Words of Wisdom:  “As important as your past is, it is not as important as the way you see your future.”  Author unknown

The best way to seek a positive future is to look forward to it.  If you’re always looking over your shoulder, you won’t go far before you start bumping into things.  But when you believe that great things are ahead and meet each day with eager anticipation, you’re creating incredible opportunities for success. (A bridge to a better future by John C. Maxwell).

Do not worry about tomorrow.  God will take care of your tomorrow too.   Live one day at a time.

MATTHEW 6:34

LORD, help us to live today enjoying the present moments.  Help us to lead the children to do the same and to enjoy each moment you give us.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Urban boy Saturday, Mar 8 2008

I had so much fun with little boy.  He wasn’t into having his picture made in the beginning but after a while he was all into it.  He loved the sucker too.  I fell in love with his little urban outfit and as soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to capture.  I will be photographing him this summer when he turns two and again in the fall and I can’t wait.  He loves to dance and when he heard music he would start to dance.  He and his mom were such a joy to be around .  This is such a great age.  Here are a few favorites and of course I hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words fo Wisdom:  You are “tumb body.” You are a child of God (mama’s rules for livin)

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.

PROVERBS 17:22

LORD, I pray that the children will have merry hearts and grow up knowing they are loved by you.  LORD touch the children and keep them safe.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Mr. “C” Wednesday, Mar 5 2008

0326-03blog.jpg

I am just going to call him Mr. “C”.  I tell you Mr. “C” gave me a challenge he let me know from the start he would rather not be there having his picture made, but I tell you what if I had to guess he actually enjoyed it.  Isn’t he cute!   I told him that he would be thankful one day that he did this.  I really had a good time with him and I hope he did as well.  His mom is beautiful too and I enjoyed the day with the two of them.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

I have to share this little testimony.  My little girl was in so much pain yesterday evening and was just crying and hurting.  I thought she might be constipated because she was straining so and crying.  I put her in the tub of warm water and she just kept crying so and I can’t stand to see my child in so much pain.  I started crying and praying and begging God to take her pain away and I was just pouring warm water over her while I was praying and I wish you could have seen the transformation.  She went silent for a couple of seconds and then a smile came over her face and the pain was gone.  I saw an instant healing in front of my eyes.  She said “Jesus touch my back”.  I know Jesus healed her and so does she.  I just wanted to share my faith and hers.  Thanks for listening and stopping by.

Words of Wisdom:  Don’t allow yourself to be influenced by people who have given up.  Love them.  Help them if you can.  But don’t let their thinking get into your head and heart.  (Your Bridge to a Better Future) by John C. Maxwell

People don’t like to see others pursuing their dreams-it reminds them of how far from living their dreams they are.  In talking you out of your dreams, they are talking themselves back into their own comfort zone.  They will give you every rational lie they ever gave themselves.  (Author unknown).

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

COLOSSIANS 3:17 NRSV

LORD, in everything the children do let them bring honor to your name.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

I am running a little behind on things but trying to get caught up.  These siblings were so much fun and I enjoyed going out to their place to photograph them.  It would have been hard to get four kids ready and then drive to a session, so it worked out better for me to go to them.   These kids seem to have a special bond.  They all got along so well and were just a pleasure to be around.  I enjoyed the afternoon with them and their family.  It was very hard not to post more.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Words of Wisdom:  Mothers, fathers, sisters, and brothers all shape and direct a child’s growth.  In families, children learn how to get along, share, take responsibility, and care for others.  Be kind to one another, love one another, and think of others more than yourself. (Promise Press).  (This is all insight from a book called What Kids say about Life, Love and God).

“And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty.

2CORINTHIANS 6:18

LORD, help our children to be loving and caring and care for others. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!
