I had the pleasure of photographing this handsome little boy again.  This time was for his one year photos.  It is just amazing to me how fast these little one’s grow.  I had a great time.  It was cool out and I was sick, but it was a great shoot.  Check out his cute little leg warmers by baby legs.  Bayou Crafters Mall is carrying them now.  I have several pair myself and love them.  He just looks so hip with these.  I love the layered look on boys and girls. These are a few of my favorites.  I realized after I finished uploading that I forgot to put one in of him smiling.  Oh well, mom you will see those in your book.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven. (God’s little instruction book for mom)

Verily I say unto you, Whoesoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

LUKE 18:17

LORD, help us to lead our children to you.  In this day and time it gets harder for our children and we need your help LORD to guid our children in the right direction.  LORD, please keep your hands upon our children and protect them. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Hello again!  I have started the year off getting behind.  It seems that every time I think I am going to be able to work something happens.  The weather has been terrible and my whole household has been sick.  I have done two sessions while I was sick.  I took the kids to the doctor Tue. and they started antibiotics, I was already on them.  My son hasn’t been to school all week and I had to take my daughter back to the doctor today (Thur.) and she has RSV.  I tell you what, I am tired of my kids being sick.  You hate to see your kids suffer.  Now my husband and mother are sick.  Well now I have dumped my problems out I will get on with my posting.  Just remember us in your prayers.

I had the pleasure of photographing another senior.  We had a great time and I enjoyed spending time with Alarie, her mom and Alarie’s friend.  I love getting to know these seniors and finding out their plans for the future.  Look out Tech for this one and her friend.  Mom was a great sport too and was up for anything.  Well here are a few to view and I hope you enjoy.  It has been really hard cutting back on the number of photos I post.  Hopefully this will get easier.  Well I hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.  (God’s little devotional book for mom)

As he thinketh in his heart, so is he.

PROVERBS 23:7

LORD, let us believe in our children and guide them to believe in you. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

It was such a pleasure to photograph this little one year old.   She was so sweet during the whole session.  Let me tell you, the clothes you choose for a session really affect how your photos turn out.  Her parents did such a great job picking out her outfit for the session.  The colors were great and complimented her eyes so well.  She does have amazing blue eyes.  I had a great time with her parents too.  I photographed her cousins a while back and was excited to photograph her at the age of one.  I have been forgetting to get my photograph taken with my kids, but I am going to start that because I wanted that to be something that I always do.  I have two other sessions that I didn’t get my photo taken with but from this pointe on I will. Well, here are a few favorites.  I am working very hard to post fewer and it is very hard to do this.  I sure wanted to post more.  Hope ya’ll enjoy!

Words of Wisdom:  The most beautiful action in the world is to love.  The second most beautiful is to give. (God’s little devotional book for parents).

The light in the eyes of him whose heart is joyfull rejoices the hearts of others.

PROVERBS 15:30 AMP

LORD, help us to always bless others and to raise our kids to enjoy blessing others.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

I had the pleasure to photograph this awesome senior.  I had such a great time and let me tell you this girl had great plans for the future.  She plans on working with special needs children.  I believe she has a special calling to do this and I believe she is going to be great at it.  It was such a pleasure spending time with her and her mom.  Can I tell you again how much I love this job and being blessed to meet the people I meet.  Here are a few favorites from the session.  Hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.  (God’s little devotional book for parents).

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

PROVERBS 22:6

LORD, please be with our children and lead them where they should go.  The more we take Your name out of things the harder this world becomes.  May our children see the truth in Him and put their trust in Him. Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

Moments to Cherish Saturday, Jan 12 2008

Ok, let me tell you from the start that this is not a couple this is a mom and her son.  I know, she looks like she could be his girlfriend. (Hope I look that good at her age). I tell you what I had such a great time photographing these two and hope they had as much fun as I did.  I have known his mom for a long time and she has put her faith in God when it came to raising a teenager, and he turned out to be a great man.  It really touched my heart to be able to take these photos.  Kennith left for Iraq shortly after these pictures were taken, making them even more special for his mom.  Please keep Kennith, his family and all of our troops in your parayers.  I am truly thankful for what our Military Guys and Girls do for us.  These are a few of my favorites from the shoot.  I hope ya’ll enjoy.

Words of Wisdom:  Parenthood is a partnership with God…. You are working with the Creator of the universe in shaping human character and determining destiny.(God’s littld instruction book for mom).

We a labourers together with God.

1 CORINTHIANS 3:9

LORD, let us take time to thank you for giving your one and only son for us.  LORD, please be with our troops and protect them from harms way and be with their families and give them comfort during such a difficult time.  Let the children grow up putting all their trust in Him.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

I sure have gotten out of the swing of posting things but am trying to get back into it.  I am looking forward to this year and can’t wait to meet more new people.  This is a friend of mine that I had photographed. She had the baby not long after this shoot.  I can’t wait to see her little boy. i know she is going to be a great mother.  She has always loved kids.  These are a few of my favorites.  I will most likely start posting less from the shoots to let more be a surprise (if I can do it).  I hope ya’ll enjoy these.  She is as beautiful pregnant as she is not pregnant. We were lucky to get her husband to join in, he was in a hurry to go hunting that day and we made him join in for a few.

Words of Wisdom:  Simply having children does not make mothers.  (God’s little instruction book for mom).

Teach the young women to be sober…to love their children.

TITUS 2:4

Lord be with all of us who are moms and help us to lead our children to you and let us put all our faith in you.  Amen.

Thanks & God Bless!

5447-01-5x7blog.jpgI hope everyone had a great New Years Day and I know everyone has many New Years resolutions.  Hopefully you made some you can keep this year.  My little girl turned two yesterday (01-02-08).  The timing is always off on this blog.  We will not celebrate her birthday until later.  She will be having her buttons put in and adnoids taken out next week, so I’m not sure when we will celebrate, but we will sometime.

I am finally getting around to posting these nine month shot of my nephew.  He is just so cute.  He looks alot like his sister.  He is usually all smiles, but he did cry some this day.  These are a few of my favorites.  Hope ya’ll enjoy them.

Words of Wisdom:  “As a mother, my job is to take care of the possible and trust God with the impossible.” (God’s little instrustion book for mom)

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

PSALM 9:10

LORD, give me the faith to put everything that is impossible in your hands as I know you are the one to turn too.  I pray that the children will also have faith in you when it comes to the impossible. Amen.
