OK, I am adding one more for Brook’s mom; she wanted to see this one and I thought I posted it and didn’t, so I’m adding it now and it’s one of my favorites!

I had my first engagement session on Monday and I loved it. We had soooo much fun and the atmosphere was perfect for this couple. I can’t wait to do Brooke’s bridal shoot next month. We are going to have a blast. I know I am posting a bunch, but it was too hard to choose. I hope you enjoy. I love the feel of these, and this couple is young and in LOVE!

This little girl is precious, I’m still not sure if she ever got very comfortable with me or not but I was able to get some great shots of her. We had a great time and Katelyn was able to pretend to be a princess and she had a good time. I hope you enjoy. These are a few of my favorites.

Family time before the new addition! Tuesday, May 22 2007

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family of four (soon to be five on Friday). They had a beautiful place and the kids were adorable. I had such a great time and always feel like I make great friends doing this job. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Serena and a little shabby chic girls play! Thursday, May 17 2007

This little girl is precious and she had soooo much fun and so did I. Girls are just fun to photograph. I cannot wait until mine wants to play like this. I had a really hard time picking which one to post. I wanted to post them all, but I have to save some as a surprise for mom. I can’t wait to photograph Serena’s little brother and them together. I hope you can tell how much fun we were having in these.

This young lady was brave, we did her photo shoot on Tuesday and she was having a c-section on Wednesday. She looks great! This is Keesha’s #3 and she is having a girl. We had a great time doing these. I know she will not see them for a few days, but I wanted to go ahead and post a few of my favorites from the shoot.

A Mother’s Day & Birthday all -in-one Monday, May 14 2007

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day, dedicated Kyndal Grace to Church and celebrated her 1st BIRTHDAY! I’m sorry if you get tired of looking at my family photos, but I had a hard time choosing which ones to post and my family and friends love looking at these. I was soooo tired I didn’t even put borders around them.
I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day. I am so thankful for my mother and so glad we were able to spend the day at her house.

Reaching for the stars! Tuesday, May 8 2007

This photo session was so much fun. Crystal has a bright future ahead of herself, she graduates this week Valedictorian of her class. She scored 22 on her ACT. She and Kelvin have a precious son together “Torrian” and he was a blast to photograph. Crystal has been through a lot since 2006 after loosing her mom, but she has plans for her tomorrows. After graduation, she plans to get married, go into the Air Force and plans to become a psychiatrist.

Crystal’s friend & mentor is Debbie who has been beside Crystal since her pregnancy with Torrian.  Debbie also joined in on this photo shoot.

Hats off to Crystal and her family! May God Bless them!

Tara & Phillip Monday, May 7 2007

I had such a great time capturing these moments for Tara and Phillip. These two were married back in December and wanted to have their marriage blessed. Tara is a friend of mine and I was honored to take part in their blessing. This is probably the closest thing to a wedding I will be doing.
Tara wore a traditional Veitnam wedding gown and head piece. The ceremony was very touching; there was a candle light and balloon release in memory of Tara’s mom. Ten butterflies were released by friends and wishes made for the couple for each one released.
I wish these two a life of happiness.

Industrial Bridal Shoot Thursday, May 3 2007

Before I left Baton Rouge this past weekend, I took some photographs of my friend Kerri in her wedding dress. She was married last August and I was her matron of honor. She is precious to me. I can’t wait to do her maternity shoot!!!! I am trying to build my portfolio with engagments and bridals. I have chosen not to do weddings, but love photographing brides and couples. I am specializing in Childrens photography, but am branching out for seniors, couples, bridals, family, & maternity. I hope you enjoy these photos. We had fun taking them.

Skylar a little model Wednesday, May 2 2007

I just wanted to post a few of Skylar I took recently. These photographs really show what my style is. I am so non traditional and have been stressing to people that if they are wanting something traditional, I am not the right photographer for them. I just love capturing kids as they give me that glance or not even looking at me. I never want them to look at me and say “cheese”. I hope you enjoy these, I truly believe these pictures show the style I am going for.
